Zeta Lip Sync

 Zeta Lip Sync is our Fall philanthropy that we put on in order to benefit breast cancer education and awareness. The dance competition is between Greek Life's Sororities and Fraternities new member classes, held at the UCF Addition Arena. Throughout the month of October, leading up to Lip Sync, we hold events called Kiss Away. They are pop-up fundraising events that take place at UCF's reflection pond where we set up a table with games and activities for students to participate in if they make a donation. Organizations that participate in Lip Sync have the opportunity to gain bonus points leading up to the event, and participating at our Kiss Away events is a great opportunity to do so. Along with having Kiss Away events, we also sell BBQ tickets for our annual BBQ at Lake Claire as an additional way to fundraise. Finally, at the end of the month we host our final event known as Zeta Lip Sync. This is where all sororities and fraternities finally get to show off their hard work and practice, and compete to win the title of Zeta Tau Alpha's "Lip Sync" champions. Because of Zeta Lip Sync, Eta Kappa has become the leading ZTA chapter in the nation for fundraising! Surpassing our goal of $150,000 we wound up raising $155,110 this past October for the Zeta Tau Alpha foundation which supports Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. We are so proud and grateful for all of our philanthropy participants!
