Chapter History

The Eta Kappa Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha was founded on December 11, 1971. The ZTA house was the first on UCF's campus and since then has had additions built on to the house. Our chapter is the 154th link out of 254 Zeta Tau Alpha chapters in the nation. We are the second largest National Woman's Sorority. Zeta Tau Alpha collegiate and alumnae in one year gave over four million volunteer hours and $250,000 to service endeavors. Our chapter's philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. In 2019, we raised $130,000 leading up to Zeta Lip Sync, our annual dance competition and biggest event of the year. Our other main events are Kiss Away Breast Cancer on the UCF campus and Lip Sync BBQ.
