Chapter History

The Eta Kappa Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha was founded on December 11, 1971. The ZTA house was the first on UCF's campus and since then has had additions built on to the house. Our chapter is the 154th link out of 254 Zeta Tau Alpha chapters in the nation and we are the second largest National Women's Sorority. Zeta Tau Alpha's national philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education & Awareness. In 2023, we raised $155,110 leading up to Zeta Lip Sync, our annual dance competition and biggest philanthropy event of the year. Other main events we hold leading up to Zeta Lip Sync are Kiss Away Breast Cancer on the UCF campus and our Lip Sync BBQ.
